First production of play wins four awards at Elmbridge. In The Name Of Love had it's first performance at Elmbridge Drama Festival on 7th March 2013 and walked away with four awards, including the Winners Trophy.
The tense two-hander featured Susie Kimnell and Adam Roberts, Susie having also written the play.
At his final summing up of the Festival, the adjudicator Charles Evans praised the quality of the plays competing. Announcing the winners he placed RDG first, also awarding Susie the Best Actress trophy. She also collected the cup for her Original Work and the superb set, sound and lighting were given the award for Technical Merit.
In addition to the four trophies, Adam was nominated for Best Actor and the play was nominated for the Adjudicator's Trophy, which he awarded for 'courage and risk-taking'
