The ELMBRIDGE DRAMA FESTIVAL is one of the oldest drama festivals in the area.  2019 will be the 58th festival.

It is one of almost forty first round competitive festivals in the All England Theatre Festival competition for one-act plays. The Elmbridge Drama Festival winners will progress to the Eastern Area Final (National Semi Final).  The winners there representing the Area in the AETF National Final and the National Final winners will represent the UK at the British Final.

The ELMBRIDGE DRAMA FESTIVAL will be held in its traditional home at the Cecil Hepworth Playhouse, Walton-on-Thames on 31 May 2019.

The performances  will be followed by an adjudication given by Keith Phillips, an associate member of the Guild of Drama Adjudicators.

Adjudications will be followed by the Awards ceremony, where trophies are awarded in all categories for acting, directing and technical achievement.

The Elmbridge Drama Festival committee are delighted to be hosting the next round of the All England Theatre Festival, the Eastern Area Final on 1 June 2019 adjudicated by Jill Colby.
