The 2018 Elmbridge Drama Festival will be taking place on the 9th and 10th March at the Cecil Hepworth Walton Playhouse.

 

The performances for the evenings are:

Friday 9th March 2018

  • Thursday Night Project with "Heads" by Howard Brenton

  • Pond Grainger Performing Arts with "The Narrator" by Alex Grainger

 

Saturday 10th March 2018

  • Bishopstoke Players with "What If..." by Peter Yates

  • Bishopstoke Players with "No Easy Road" by Peter Yates

The performances each evening will be followed by an adjudication given by the festival adjudicator Keith Phillips who is a professional member of the Guild of Drama Adjudicators (GoDA).

 

Adjudications on the Saturday night will be followed by the awards ceremony including the presentation of awards.

The 2018 Elmbridge Drama festival is being generously supported by the RC Sherriff Trust and Charity of Roberts Phillips.

 

The winners will represent the Elmbridge Drama Festival in the Eastern Area Semi Final of the All England Theatre Festival, to be held in the Norden Farm Centre  for the Arts on Sunday 13th May 2018.

  • Edward G. Hubbard Trophy - for BEST ACTOR 

  • Alice Sharp Trophy - for BEST ACTRESS 

  • Anne Holmes Trophy - for BEST SUPPORTING PLAYER 

  • Molly Jack Trophy - for BEST YOUTH ACTOR or ACTRESS

  • Stage Coach Trophy - for AN ORIGINAL WORK 

  • Mark Wilkinson Trophy - for TECHNICAL MERIT 

  • ADJUDICATOR'S TROPHY
