Choosing a play can be a time consuming proocess but entering a drama festival provides you with an opportunity to choose a more challenging piece. Plays need to be at least twenty minutes long and no longer than fifty five minutes.
Alternatively, you could perform an original script. Many original plays have their beginnings in small festivals such as this. If you have a yearning to see if your ideas will communicate on stage then this is a great place to try them out! Some of these plays have been very successful winning numerous awards.
Our festival is a first round of the All England Theatre festival and full rules and regulations for entry can be found on their website
